crankiness update

Remedy for crankiness = cutting ornament tags. Cut paper, move paper, cut paper, move paper. Get paid 15 dollars an hour to cut paper. Realize life isn't so bad. Think happy thoughts. OR, imagine paper is stupid and/or mean person. Smile.
The end.

cranky

I am trying this meme where you just post whatever thoughts come into your head. I am going to post my thoughts in fragments.

Starting now.
I am cranky. (dammit, that was a full sentence. Let's try again)
Ate too fast.
Job makes me want to scream today.
Cold sore. Taking Christmas pictures in 2 days.
Hate mean people.
Hate stupid people.
Hate mean, stupid people who have no clue they are mean and stupid.
A little weirded out that I did not get invited to the work party on Sat which apparently everyone else was.
On the other hand, who gives a flying crap.
Trying to shake a foul mood.
Said mean, stupid people not helping with foul mood.
Need a stiff drink.
Or lots of chocolate.
Or a jazzy dog.
Wondering if I can bring a jazzy dog to work, and tell her to bite mean, stupid people.
Then again, she would just lick them.
Wondering what Tony is doing.
Thinking he is working from home today, so he gets to play with jazzy dog and sarge boy, and does not have to see mean, stupid people.
Jealous.
End.

I am feeling contemplative today.

Heard a rendition of this song this morning on Sirius Coffeehouse this morning (satellite radio).... Each time I hear it I think of different things. Whatever it brings to mind, it always makes me think.....

Oh, mercy mercy me

Oh, things ain't what they used to be

No, no

Where did all the blue sky go?

Poison is the wind that blows

From the north, east, south, and sea

Oh, mercy mercy me

Oh, things ain't what they used to be

No, no

Oil wasted on the oceans and upon our seas

Fish full of mercury

Oh, mercy mercy me

Oh, things ain't what they used to be

No, no

Radiation in the ground and in the sky

Animals and birds who live nearby are dying

...The whole damn world is dying

Oh, mercy mercy me

Oh, things ain't what they used to be

What about this overcrowded land?

How much more abuse from man can you stand?

My sweet Lord

My sweet Lord

My sweet Lord

Originally by Marvin Gaye of course, but these are the lyrics from the version I heard this morning... and now I can't remember her name. oops!
